‘My Health Online’

My Health Online allows patients to access important services in their local practice, without having to travel. It is an external service provided by NHS Wales. Once registered, patients can book appointments and request repeat prescriptions remotely.

How do I register with My Health Online?

Before using all of the available My Health Online features, you will need to complete a registration form which can be downloaded and printed at home. After handing the form to your practice, a code will be generated which can be used to register online.

There are two forms available – one for adults and one for children. Parents must fill in a form on behalf of their children. The forms can be downloaded as PDFs here:

How do I sign in?

The My Health Online website allows you to create an account or sign in on the homepage. To sign into an existing account, you’ll need your username and password. If you have forgotten these, use the relevant links next to the login area to help you sign in.

What Services We Offer

We offer a wide range of enhanced services to ensure that all your care needs are met. See some of our most popular medical services below.


Physiotherapy appointments are available on a Wednesday, Thursday & Friday morning at our Treharris Surgery and may be either pre-booked or, subject to availability, on the same day.

Contraception Advice

We provide advice to help with family planning. This includes coils, implants and contraception for our patients.

Joint and Tissue Injections

To ease arthritic and rheumatic pains including knee, shoulder, elbow, hip, back, thumb, trigger finger and carpal tunnel.

General Practice Support Officers (GPSOs)

General practice support officers (GPSO’s) and MIND practioners are available most days to support your emotional and psychological well-being.

Shared Care

We provide prescriptions for medicines that are usually only prescribed by a hospital consultant. These medications often require regular monitoring of blood tests, which we also provide.

INR Monitoring and Anticoagulation

We provide a full service for anticoagulation, including commencement and initiation of direct oral anticoagulants (DOAC’s) and Warfarin initiation and monitoring.

Minor surgery

Medically indicated removal of skin and subcutaneous lesions such as cysts, boils and lipomas (note cosmetic procedures are not covered under NHS).
